WE2 Support Services 8(a) JV, LLC, (WE28aJV) is a Small Business Administration (SBA) certified 8(a) Joint Venture specializing in Facility Support/Base Ops Services and Construction Management. The WE2 8(a) Joint Venture (JV) formed under the SBA’s Mentor-Protégé Program is comprised of Waséyabek Federal Services, LLC, (WFS) and E2 Consulting Engineers, Inc. (E2), with WFS as the Protégé and E2 as the Mentor.

Per the approved SBA Mentor-Protégé Agreement (MPA), WE28aJV has the advantages of meeting the Protégé’s size/socioeconomic classifications and combining the past performance/relevant experience of both the Mentor and Protégé – allowing our customers to receive the utilization benefit of a 100% Tribally-owned 8(a) while combining the full capabilities, qualifications, and past performance of both companies into a seamlessly integrated team.

The SBA Mentor-Protégé, Joint Venture approach, has proven to be an effective strategy to capture opportunities, such as the Site Operations Support (SOS) Services contract at the National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) – an 8(a) set-aside, competitive prime contract for the Department of Energy (DOE).  The contract scope includes Non-Nuclear Building/System Maintenance; Laboratory Facility Operations and Maintenance; Utilities Systems Operations & Maintenance; Soil & Groundwater Post-Closure Operations & Maintenance; Maintenance Shop Services; Warehousing; R&D Technician Support Services; Vehicle & Equipment Management & Maintenance; Property Management; Mailroom Services; Grounds Maintenance; Janitorial Services; Administrative Services; and all associated ESH&Q and Engineering support.
